How Pokemon Natures Work

Every Pokemon has a nature that multiplies one stat by 1.1x (boosted) and another by 0.9x (reduced). HP is never affected by natures. Five natures (Hardy, Docile, Bashful, Quirky, Serious) are neutral and don't change any stats.

How to Change Natures

In Scarlet & Violet and Sword & Shield, use Mints to change a Pokemon's nature effects. Mints can be purchased with Battle Points (BP) or found in the overworld. Note: Mints change the stat effects but not the displayed nature.
