Pokemon GO CP Calculator

See what your Pokemon's CP becomes after evolving, and the max CP of any species at level 40 and 50. Enter your Pokemon and its current CP — the evolution estimate keeps your level and IVs, the way Pokemon GO actually works.

How This Calculator Works

Pokemon GO derives each species' Attack, Defense, and Stamina from its main-series stats, and computes CP as (Attack × √Defense × √Stamina × CPM²) ÷ 10 — CPM being the multiplier for your Pokemon's level. When a Pokemon evolves it keeps its level and IVs, so the CP change is just the ratio between the two species' stat products. That's what this tool computes, which is why it needs only your current CP, not your exact level.

FAQ

How do I calculate my Pokemon’s CP after evolving?

Pick your Pokemon, enter its current CP (and IVs if you know them), and the calculator estimates the CP of every evolution. Evolving keeps your Pokemon’s level and IVs, so CP scales by the species’ stat change — accurate within about 1–2% for most Pokemon.

How is CP calculated in Pokemon GO?

CP = (Attack × √Defense × √Stamina × CPM²) ÷ 10, where each stat includes its IV and CPM is the CP multiplier for the Pokemon’s level. Max CP figures here use perfect 15/15/15 IVs at level 40 and level 50.

Why is the evolved CP an estimate?

The exact value depends on your Pokemon’s precise level and IVs. The estimate assumes the same level and IVs through evolution (which is how Pokemon GO works); a few species also have manually adjusted stats in-game.
